The National Standardbred Horse Show will be held September 19–21 at the Horse Park of New Jersey, highlighting the versatility of retired Standardbreds across a wide range of disciplines. Several racing legends will be among the entries, now thriving in second careers.
Homicide Hunter
Mr Cantab–Evening Prayer • Trotter • Mark 1:48.4 • $1.7M earnings
Once the world’s fastest trotter, Homicide Hunter retired after setting a 1:48.4 mile and earning more than $1.7 million. Now with MMXX Standardbreds, he is entered in English Pleasure, Showmanship, and In-Hand classes.
Golden Receiver

A fan favorite with 63 wins and $2.2 million earned, Golden Receiver will be competing in English Pleasure, Equitation, Showmanship, the Hunt Seat Equitation Challenge, and War Horse divisions.
Michaels Power
Camluck–Michelle’s Jackpot • Pacer • Mark 1:48.1 • $1.9M earnings
Canada’s 2012 Horse of the Year and Little Brown Jug champion, Michaels Power retired with $1.9 million in earnings. His show schedule includes In-Hand Conformation, War Horse Pleasure, Western speed events, Western Horsemanship, and Trail.
Wisenheimer
