About Maria Buchanan
Maria Buchanan grew up immersed in the world of harness racing and has been showing Standardbreds since childhood, competing in nearly every discipline over the years. For the past 12 consecutive years, she and her longtime partner Big Bikkies have successfully shown at the Standardbred National Show, recently joined by the talented Chocolate Delight, who became part of the family six years ago. Maria developed her showmanship skills by observing seasoned competitors and asking questions, and today, she shares that knowledge by mentoring junior exhibitors and guiding them toward success in the ring.
